Situated in the middle of the Portes du Soleil ski area, snowboarding in Morzine offers something for all levels of rider. From the dedicated beginners area and cruisy tree lined blues on the face of Pleney, to the more technical and off piste gems that are Mont Chery and Chamossière.

With easily accessible freestyle terrain parks in Nyon, Mont Chery and Avoriaz, first time freestylers to seasoned pros can find fun features to strut their stuff.

Avoriaz

Considered by many to be the Mecca of European snowboarding, Avoriaz has amazing and varied terrain to suit all levels! Superb tree runs, awesome cliff drops, technical chutes, wide open powder fields and big cruisey blues to really lay out those carves. Freestyle terrain parks are in abundance in Avoriaz, with the Chapelle park catering for beginners to high intermediates and the pro park on Arare catering for those who love their air time.

You’ll also find the Burton Stash sustainable park, an air bag to practice those moves and a half pipe all located in the area. With easy access to Chatel and Switzerland, Avoriaz is a great place to start your exploration of the Portes du Soleil with one of our team.

Les Gets

Snowboarding in Les Gets is one of those undiscovered gems and features some of the best terrain for freestyle and freeride snowboarding in the Portes du Soleil. Mont Chery offers an amazing freestyle terrain park catering for beginner and advanced riders alike, while the back side of the peak is a freeriders dream. The main bowl in Les Gets allows for easy access to lots of varied terrain including off piste tree run, technical black runs and wide on cruisers to develop those skills.
