It’s okay to admit you’ve just googled where Kyrgyzstan is, but all you need to know is the riding looks badass!
This trailer comes from the upcoming Connections Film scheduled to hit your retinas in autumn 2018. Production started back in 2015 and the mountain based documentary is the brainchild of Chilean duo of Rafael Pease (splitboarder/producer) and Sebastian Hasbun (videographer).
They aim to highlight the connection mountaineers and environmentalists hold with the surroundings in which we explore. Shining a light on these topics from the perspective of the indigenous cultures they visit, from the Tordrillo Mountains and Pamir Range through to Hokkaido and the Talas Ala-Too Range.
We think it’s going to be amazing. A split boarding, culture filling, drone shot adventure to some beautiful mountains that will leave us all beyond jealous.
Onyx have an interview lined up with Rafael so let us know if there are any questions you’d like us to ask him after watching the trailer.
You can find more details on their project here.
